Why setting up alerts

Setting up alerts on Trajaan for competitive intelligence is crucial because it allows you to track and monitor your competitors' movements in real-time.

This functionality provides you with up-to-date insights into your competitors' strategies, campaigns, and external communications. It helps you stay ahead and respond quickly to any changes in the competitive landscape, greatly enhancing your decision-making process.

How to set up alerts

Click on Set an alert from any line chart, from the top-right icon.

Define the trigger with the metric you want to monitor. It can be search volume, search impressions or clicks.

If you want to narrow alerts to specific brands, products or categories, unselect ANY OPTION and select the items you need.

Filter by date for the next 12 or 24 months. This step is mandatory, otherwise you will get alerts for the past data.

Define email recipients for the alerts.

You can also integrate alerts with your Slack workspace. Please ask API credentials to your Slack administrator.

You can also push alerts directly to your own data lake or BI platform using Webhooks. Please refer to your IT/tech department to learn about this method.
