Organize Your Projects with Workspaces

Workspaces help you organize and structure your projects to improve clarity, efficiency, and collaboration within your company.

Written by Pierre-Antoine Vigneron

1. Create a Workspace

  1. Go to the left-hand menu labeled "Workspaces".

  2. Click the "Create workspace" button located at the bottom left.

  3. Enter a name for your workspace.

  4. Choose its visibility level:

  • Public: All members of your company can access it.

  • Private: Only the workspace creator and invited members can access it.

By default, a workspace is public and accessible to all company members. If you select Private mode, only the creator and invited members will be able to access it.

Once created, your workspace will appear in the left-hand menu.

You can create as many workspaces as needed within your company.

2. Access a Workspace

To access a workspace, simply click on its name in the left-hand menu.

If the workspace is set to Private, a lock icon appears on the folder to indicate its status, as shown with the Trajaan workspace in the example below.

Inside a workspace, you will find:

  • A link to our blog, with information about Trajaan.

  • Direct access to our Help Center, to support you in setting up your workspaces and projects.

  • And your different projects.

3. Invite Members

Members can only access a private workspace if they are explicitly invited. Private workspaces do not appear for other company members, so sending an invitation is required to grant access.

When inviting someone, you can assign one of the following roles:

  • Read-only: View access only

  • Manager: Can manage projects and members

  • Owner: Full control of the workspace

4. Create a Project

Once inside your workspace, you can create a project by clicking the New Project button located in the top-right corner.
