What is the Pinterest Source?
The Pinterest API provides access to trending data and suggested keywords directly from Pinterest’s official API. This source is ideal for analyzing user searches and behaviors on Pinterest to identify strategic opportunities.
Available Data:
Weekly 100-Index: Indicates the most popular keywords on a scale of 100 points.
Weekly Growth Rate: Shows the growth in searches over a week.
Update Frequency:
Data is updated weekly and monthly.
Limitations:
Maximum of 500 keywords per project.
Geographic Coverage:
Data is available for the following countries:

How to Access the Pinterest Trends Source
Step 1: Prerequisites
You must be an administrator of the company on the platform to access this source.
Step 2: Connecting to Pinterest Trends
Go to Settings > Connectors.
Select the Pinterest connector.
Connect an existing Pinterest account or create a new Pinterest account for your business
Activate Pinterest Source and refresh the data through the 'Get Fresh Data' button.
Step 3: Importing Keywords
Once the Pinterest source is configured, you can add keywords through:
Direct Import: Add a pre-existing list of generic keywords.
Pinterest Suggestions: Generate relevant keywords around themes such as products, ingredients, colors, or general trends.
Google Suggestions: Use generic keywords (e.g., cocktails, products, brands, ingredients etc.) to explore new trends.
You can also select a country and a specific theme to study in order to optimize scraping within the limit of 500 keywords.
Step 4: Analyzing Data
Navigate to the Social module.
Review the Pinterest-related results to analyze trends.
